氣象署表示，玉山氣象站今日0600前起有降雪現象，目前積雪深約1公分，降雪持續中，從曝光的畫面看到，整個玉山氣象站一片銀白，變身成雪白冰封世界，戶外的觀測儀器、太陽能板以及建築物屋頂都被白雪覆蓋，地面、道路也佈滿積雪，植被宛如灑上糖霜，氣象站前的招牌更是結上一層冰霜。氣象署提醒，前往高山請留意道路結冰及路面濕滑情形。
